Minhwa Kim got baptized in April 2000. She brought her son, Shin Kyu Kang to church for the first time when he was only in the fourth grade. After a number of years, he studied the Bible and got baptized in December of 2007. He is now a committed high school freshman disciple in Christ.

At the time of his baptism, his big sister, Kyunghee Kang, who stopped studying the Bible five years earlier, made the decision to restudy the Bible. Her humility and child like heart to study the Bible surprised and impacted her family, friends, and coworkers. Through the grace of God, she got baptized this past July 20th.

Kyunghee's little sister, Nanhee Kang, saw the changes in her big sister's life and made the decision to also study the Bible. She absorbed the word of God like a sponge and experienced the miraculous impact of the word of God in her life.

On October 12th as she was about to get baptized she stated the following in a letter, "Today I die in Christ. However, I am not scared or afraid.  I find happiness in Christ now that I know I will have a new life and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. As a disciple, I will strive to evoke the fragrance of Christ, not the smell of death. And just as you compassionately and thoughtfully held me by the hand, I will never let go of your hand.”

Based on the seeds of faith scattered by one mother, Minhwa Kang, her three children Shin Kyu, Nanhee, and Kyunghee were able to get baptized and receive salvation.  The Kang Family says this:  "We look forward to the plans of God who has saved our family.  We thank God for his grace.”

"They replied, 'Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.'" Acts 16:31
